Antique French fireplace mirror with a beautiful profiled painted wooden frame. The mirror is circa the late 1700s and the style is Louis Seize. From the time when valuable glass was mounted in 2 pieces and has mercury coating on the back, which fgives an absolutely fantastic shine, when it catches the light. Was often hung over the large fireplaces in living rooms.
