Impressive and magnificent antique French gold mirror in Louis XVI style.
From around 1860, this gorgeous piece still has its original mercury mirror glass, adding to the stunning patina.
It has a gold-leaf-coated wooden frame, and is richly ornamental, with charming floral and foliage detailing, as well as lovely beading around the frame.
Kindly note the elegant top of the mirror in the finest hand-carved quality, with a large seashell in the middle, as well as curved leaf tendrils and flower decorations.
This antique gold mirror is the largest Fil de Fer has had in the shop’s 29 years of existence.
