Shelving Unit-Kim Moltzer
Distinctive and sculptural vintage brass shelves / étagère, dating from late 1960s France, and designed by Kim Moltzer (1938-2015). This unit is divided into 3 display niches in staggered levels, in reflective black lacquer paint, adding a stunning and strong focal point. There are smoky glass shelves in each niche. The entire piece rests on a simple and elegant black plinth which stands on 4 beautiful brass feet.
The shelves/bookcase can be used as a bar for bottles and drinking glasses or perfect for presenting art and other exciting objects that you want to show off.
This is an eye-catching and seldom found piece of furniture that, with its strong geometric shapes, almost has a 3-dimensional appearance. It is extremely rare that we encounter shelves of this size and quality. Moltzer’s designs and products are highly sought after by connoisseurs and collectors, ranging from the Bulgari family in Italy to the now deceased French President Georges Pompidou.
