Tallboy/Display Cabinet
Magnificent, tall and rarely seen antique display cabinet / tallboy from France. Originally used as a bookcase and dating from circa 1900. In a beautiful warm golden beige patina, with a faint pale green undertone.
The upper part of the cabinet consists of two high display doors with the original glass. Inside, the cabinet is painted in a matte aqua blue shade and equipped with 4 spacious shelves. The lower part of the cabinet consists of two deep storage compartments, behind the finely profiled wooden doors. In addition, there are 4 small practical drawers, for storage, with brass knobs.
Note the beautiful top piece with rounded profiles and the simple reliefs.
Just the thing not only for books, but also for glass and tableware / porcelain or maybe all your beautiful curiosities to be displayed.
Kindly note for transport purposes, that this piece can only be separated at the very top by the final profile.
