Souvenir Glass / Tumbler
Classic French mouth-blown cylindrical tumbler with the inscription “Souvenir” (to commemorate), as well as a lovely foliage motif etched into the glass. Circa 1880-1900s France.
These glasses with inscriptions were often made for special occasions such as parties, weddings and exhibitions, etc. The guests would bring the glasses home as a reminder of the event. Nowadays, these glasses much coveted by collectors.
