Glass Beaker Vase
Handsome antique French Verres ‘vases à violettes’, in wonderful pressed clear glass from the late 1800s. The vase is beaker/cup-shaped, so elegantly raised on a foot. Typically used when you had collected a nice bouquet of meadow flowers, violets, hence the name.
These charming and quality glass vases are coveted items today, and collectibles. They are available in both coloured and clear glass. The designs can vary and they are available with many different patterns on the side of the glass.
