Fabulous mid-century airport floodlight lamp from the French company BBT (Baudouin, Bailleul & Tasset) in a raw industrial design.
This light is made of brushed aluminum and mounted on a strong adjustable steel tripod, which gives it a both robust and sleek look.
The wide, conical light shade is designed to focus strong light – originally for use on runways and in hangars, where precision lighting was essential.
BBT was known in France for producing technically advanced lighting for both the military, aviation and industry, and their lamps were often used in airports, theaters and on film sets.
Today, such floodlights are sought after as vintage decorations and design objects, perfect for your gallery or showroom.
