Charming and elegant old French glass dome, known as “Globe” in French. The glass dome is placed on a handsome black high-gloss painted base. Gorgeous patina.
The dome would have been used to display and protect a gilt mantlepiece clocs or perhaps a collection of butterflies as well as other unique things that you wanted to exhibit.
