Earthenware Storage Jar
Charming antique French lard jar/jug, with a gorgeous in curry-coloured/ochre-yellow glaze and super patina. Originates from the South of France, where it was used in the kitchen for preserving/pickling vegetables and other cooking methods. This jar has a handle and pouring spout on the side – so it was easier to get the simmering liquid out gradually.
Wonderful in any interior-modern or provincial. Today, it will look great as practical storage in a modern kitchen.
