Wine Picker’s Bench
Vintage French wooden bench and counter, once used by wine pickers, when they celebrated the end of the wine harvest!
They would sit down at long benches with their wine glasses, and taste samples of the first wine, otherwise known as ‘Les Beaujolais Nouveaux’, which were served on the long narrow counter tables in the middle.
