Floor Lamp – Kögl
A beautiful vintage floor lamp, from the late 1960s or early 1970s era, and designed by the German designer Hans Kögl.
A sophisticated and elegant, and eye catching standing lamp, with gilded floral petals and stems complemented by delicate white flower petal-shaped shades.
Kögl frequently drew inspiration from natural forms—such as wheat stalks, Florentine flower heads, and wisteria—in his designs, particularly for sculptural floor and wall lamps, tables, and various decorative objects; he became a leading figure of the sought-after Hollywood Regency style.
His most renowned works were produced in Germany and Italy during the 1970s and 1980s, although some rare pieces date back to the 1950s and 1960s.
