| Charming little fine glass case, designed as a flower basket with handles, and raised on lovely feet, with artfully facet-cut sides of crystal glass. Dates back to the Napoleon III era in midcentury France.
Would originally have been a gift to a French bride, on the occasion of her wedding, where she would receive fine jewellery items whether necklaces, pendants, rings or brooches etc. The handle and glass sides of the cabinet are framed with gilded brass moldings in the finest detailed ornate work and the cabinet is lined with a patinated yet elegant cushion of delicate pink satin|
