Champagne Cooler-Ruinart
Distinctive, and handsomely imposing oval champagne cooler, from the renowned champagne house Dom Ruinart in France. Ruinart has roots all the way back to 1729, when it was founded by Nicolas Ruinart. Already from the middle of the 18th century, there was a shortage of space and Ruinart bought the ancient caves under the city of Reims for storage. Today they are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
This beautiful champagne cooler was designed by the French designer Eric Berthès, is made of pewter and has an opening at the top for 1-2 champagne bottles and ice. The cooler has the company’s name on both sides and is stamped at the bottom with the designer’s signature. The cooler is manufactured by the award-winning tinsmith company L’Orfèvrerie d’Anjou (OA), whose roots go all the way back to 1710 and whose specialty is the corpus tin – especially large champagne coolers and trophies.
A beautiful and sculptural champagne cooler that, even without the bubbling contents, on the table or a bar counter.
